
Crimson Tide Women Remain Fourth, Men Remain Fifth in this Week’s USTFCCCA Regional Cross Country Rankings

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama cross country teams held steady in the third regular season U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings of 2016, released Sept. 27. The women remain fourth while the men are again fifth in the South Region.
Both teams return to action this weekend when they travel to South Bend, Ind. to compete in the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational Sept. 30. So far this season, the men have posted back-to-back second-place finishes in the Brooks Memphis Twilight Classic on Sept. 3 and the Chattanooga Powerade Invitational on Sept. 9. The women won the Brooks Twilight and finished second in Chattanooga.
