Alabama’s Robert Howard Leads the Tide on Day Six of U.S. Olympic Trials

The All-American finished 45th in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 23.03
Alabama's Robert Howard posted the Crimson Tide's best finish on day six of the United States Swimming Olympic Team Trials Friday in Omaha, Neb.
The Alexander City, Ala., native took 45th place in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 23.03. In the 100-meter butterfly, Jacob Kelsoe was 74th with a time of 54.83 and Will Freeman was 131st after posting a 56.75. In the 200-meter backstroke Katie Kelsoe was 107th after touching the wall at 2:19.40.
Bailey Scott is slated to close out the Crimson Tide's run at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials when she swims the prelims of the 50-meter freestyle on Saturday.
