
Lovett and Osama Highlight Final Oracle/ITA Men’s Tennis Rankings

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men's tennis was represented in the final national and regional rankings by sophomore Korey Lovett and freshman Mazen Osama, who together, finished No. 6 in the nation and No. 1 in the southern region in doubles, tying the highest final ranking in program history. The No. 6 finish, as well as their top eight seed in the NCAA doubles championship, also awarded the duo Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-America honors, making them the eighth Alabama duo to earn the honor and third in the last four years.
Individually, Osama ended his rookie season at No. 54 nationally and No. 4 regionally in singles, which is the highest final ranking for a freshman in program history and only the second time a Crimson Tide freshman has closed out the year in the top 75. Lovett also earned a spot in the final national and regional singles rankings coming in at No. 80 and No. 10, respectively.
