Alabama Men’s Tennis Set to Compete in USTA 10k Futures

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis team is set to compete in the USTA 10k Futures event in Birmingham, Ala., at the Highland Park Tennis Center. There are 119 athletes registered to play, and there are five student-athletes that will represent the Crimson Tide.
Alabama's seniors Hayes Brewer and Ritchie Kruunenberg, sophomore Spencer Richey and freshmen Alexey Nesterov Thibault Cancel will participate this weekend.
The event is 10 days and will conclude on Monday, Nov. 6.
Brewer will battle France's Nicolas Rouanet on court four at 1 p.m. CT, while Kruunenber will face Alexis Salazar of Ecuador on court one at 11:30 a.m.
Richey will square off with Romania's Gabrial Vladut Niculescu on court five at 8:30 a.m.
Nesterov will challenge Alex Sklizovic of the U.S. on court one at 1 p.m., while Cancel will contest France's Mathias Degardin on court one at 2:30 p.m.
