Alabama Women’s Golf Tied for the Lead Entering Final Round at Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Alabama women's golf team shot a four-under par 284 to move into a tie for first after the second round at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational on Saturday at the par-72, 6,379-yard Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill, N.C. The Tide (285-284/569) shares the lead with Wake Forest (282-287/569) at seven-under par. Ohio State is third at six-under par (283-287/570), Arkansas is fourth at 3-under par (286-287/573) and North Carolina State is fifth at one-over par (288-289/577).
Individually, sophomore Lauren Stephenson is in second place at six-under par after a two-under round today (68-70/138). Sophomore Cheyenne Knight (70-71/141) and freshman Kristen Gillman (71-70/141) are tied for fifth at three-under par. Seniors Cammie Gray (76-75/151) and Mia Landegren (79-73/152) are tied for 54th and 60th, respectively.
Sunday's final round will begin with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. CT. Alabama will be paired with Wake Forest and Ohio State.
