2017 Alabama Gymnastics Broadcast/Streaming Schedule Announced

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – All seven of Alabama gymnastics' 2017 conference meets will be televised this season, including six that will be broadcast live on the SEC Network, the Southeastern Conference announced Wednesday.
In addition to the six meets that will be broadcast live on the SEC Network, Alabama will have three more streamed live by the SEC Network+ and will be available on the WatchESPN App. Additionally, both sessions of the 2017 SEC Championships will be broadcast live, with the early session broadcast on ESPNU and the late session on the SEC Network.
"While there is nothing like the energy and excitement that comes with watching an Alabama gymnastics meet live in Coleman Coliseum, the national television exposure that our conference provides gymnastics is second to none and is a huge plus for Alabama and the rest of the SEC," UA head coach Dana Duckworth said.
All five of Alabama's home meets will start at 7:30 p.m. CT in Coleman Coliseum this season and will feature 2016 NCAA runner-up LSU (Jan. 13), defending SEC champion Florida (Feb. 3) and Auburn (Feb. 17) live on the SEC Network as well as streaming on SEC Network+. The Crimson Tide's home meets against Boise State (Feb. 24) and Iowa State (March 10) will be streamed live on SEC Network+.
Alabama's meets at Missouri (Jan. 20), Arkansas (Jan. 27) and Georgia (March 5) will all be live on the SEC Network while the Tide's meet at Kentucky (Feb. 10) will be streamed on SEC Network+ and shown on a taped-delay basis on ESPNU four days later.
Alabama opens the 2017 season in Norman, Okla., against the defending NCAA Champion Oklahoma Sooners on Jan. 6 and will take on Auburn on Jan. 29 in Birmingham for the annual Elevate the Stage meet. Neither meet is scheduled to be televised at this point.
