Ages: 8th-12th Graders
This winter, Patrick Murphy Softball School will host its fifth annual HIGH INTENSITY Hitting Experience. Each camper will receive superior one-on-one instruction from the entire Alabama Softball coaching staff as well as members of the Alabama Softball team. Campers have the opportunity to sign up for one of the three offered High Intensity Hitting Experiences and each session is limited to the FIRST 50 campers!
STAFF: Coaches Patrick Murphy, Alyson Habetz, Stephanie VanBrakle, Adam Arbour, Kate Harris, Erin Weaver & members of the Crimson Tide Softball Team.
LOCATION: Rhoads Softball Stadium / Indoor Softball Facility
WHAT TO BRING: Batting gloves, bat, helmet, tennis shoes, cleats, warm layers (weather permitting, we will go outside) and a good attitude!

The Winter Pitching Summit will showcase two special guest instructors; Pro Fastpitch pitcher and Texas A&M Corpus Christi assistant coach, Sarah Pauly and our very own pitching coach, Stephanie VanBrakle! The Pitching Summit will also feature the current UA pitching staff!

Patrick Murphy Softball School is releasing its inaugural pitching clinic geared specifically towards beginner level softball pitchers. Campers 9 years old through seventh grade will have the opportunity to work with Alabama's very own pitching coach, Stephanie VanBrakle! Coach Steph is entering her fifth season at the Capstone. In her first season guiding the Alabama pitching staff, she helped lead the Crimson Tide to win the program's first national championship! Coach Steph's introductory pitching clinic will also feature Head Coach, Patrick Murphy, Associate Head Coach, Alyson Habetz, Volunteer Assistant Coach Adam Arbour and the current UA pitching staff! Campers will receive instruction on the fastball, specifically speed and power devolvement. Campers will also receive instruction on the change-up and learn to locate with precision. Campers will also receive an assortment of unique drills to take home with them in order to continue improving their pitching skills!
