
Emma Talley and Lakareber Abe Earn All-SEC Honors

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama women's golf team was well represented on the Southeastern Conference's annual women's golf awards that were announced on Friday by the conference office, with two individuals earning selection.
Junior Emma Talley earned second team All-SEC for the third consecutive year, while Lakareber Abe was tabbed to the All-Freshman team.
Talley, who leads the Crimson Tide with a 72.80 scoring average, has five top-10 individual finishes on the year. The native of Princeton, Ky., is coming off a sixth place finish at the SEC Championship.
Lakareber Abe boasts the second-highest scoring average on the team with a 74.50. Hailing from Angleton, Texas, Abe placed in the top-20 in her first four collegiate tournaments this fall, with her best finish coming at the Landfall Tradition (t4th).
The Crimson Tide returns to the course at the NCAA Raleigh Regional on Thursday, May 7, hosted at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C.
