Women's Tennis to Hold NCAA Selection Show Watch Party

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama women's tennis team will host a NCAA Selection Show Watch Party inside the recruiting room in the Mal Moore Building on Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. CT. Fans are encouraged to join head coach Jenny Mainz and the team as the Tide will learn its NCAA tournament fate live. Alabama (17-7, 8-5 SEC) is currently ranked No. 14 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The watch party will take place inside the recruiting room located on the second floor of the Mal Moore building on the campus of UA. The team has hosted a similar event in the same location in recent years.
The women's tennis team has hosted the first and second rounds of the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships for three consecutive seasons, earning the No. 2 overall seed a season ago. The opening rounds will be hosted by 16 institutions across the country. Following the regional rounds, the round of 16 through the duration of the tournament will be hosted by Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
