Crimson Tide Student-Athletes Take Part in Project AngelTree

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - University of Alabama student-athletes welcomed local children to Coleman Coliseum Wednesday evening for the Athletics Department's and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's annual Project AngelTree event.
The student-athletes donated money, shopped for and wrapped up Christmas gifts for local children, with all the Crimson Tide's teams participating in the outreach project. This year's event was one of the largest in recent memory, with student-athletes from various sports interacting and playing games with their visitors.
Wednesday's event marked the 24th consecutive year that Alabama Athletics has participated in Project AngelTree, making it one of the longest tenured groups to do so in the state.
