TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Southeastern Conference named Crimson Tide defender Abby Lutzenkirchen to the 2015 Community Service Team on Thursday. The SEC Community Service Team highlights one athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.

She is also a member of Alabama's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, which focuses on enhancing student-athlete experience while promotion opportunities for service and leadership on campus.
Lutzenkirchen has logged the most hours of service helping out her family's charity, the Lutzie 43 Foundation.
The Lutzie 43 Foundation was established in memory of her late brother, Philip Lutzenkirchen, shortly after his death in 2014. The Lutzie 43 Foundation aims to develop the character of young people and their influencers by focusing on leadership, charity, compassion, mentorship, hard work, honesty and faith through education and real-world application.
