Goblins Wins Annual Alabama Gymnastics Ghosts and Goblins Intrasquad

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Goblins squad won the annual Alabama gymnastics Ghosts and Goblins Intrasquad Thursday evening in front of a packed house in the Frances Smith Practice Facility. It was the Goblins 10th win over the past dozen years.
"There was such amazing energy tonight," UA head coach Dana Duckworth said. "Our fans were so great and they really helped create an amazing atmosphere for our ladies. We hope everyone will join us again on Dec. 18 on the floor of the Coleman Coliseum for our open practice."
The intrasquad marked the beginning of a very busy weekend for the Tide gymnastics team. The gymnastics team will take part in Friday's Celebration of Champions at the Sarah Patterson Champions Plaza starting at 1:30 p.m., when its 2015 Southeastern Conference title will be unveiled. That event will be followed by a practice. Following another practice Saturday morning, the Tide gymnasts will receive their 2015 SEC Championship rings during halftime of the Alabama-Tennessee football game which gets underway at 2:30 p.m.
