
Talley Concludes Play at the World Amateur Team Championships

KARUIZAMA, Japan - University of Alabama junior golfer Emma Talley finished up play at the 2014 Women's World Amateur Team Championships Saturday with a final round score of 2-over par 74.
Talley, a native of Princeton, Ky., carded a 3-over 291 over the four day tournament. Individually, Talley finished t49th in a field that included over 140 golfers.
The United States battled to a fifth place finish, tying with Sweden at 19-under 557. Australia captured top honors with a 29-under 547, defeating second place Canada by two strokes.
The Crimson Tide women's golf team will start the fall portion of the 2014-15 season on Friday, Sept. 19, at the Mason Rudolph Championship.
