"I am encouraged with the progress this team is making," Alabama head coach Mic Potter said. "We got to 4-under today and finished even, so we have to work on finishing a little better, but they are young, and they have to realize that it is okay to go lower. When you play against this kind of competition, you have to realize that you have to play really well all of the time to be competitive. We will learn. We have to keep playing and keep learning how to score."
Emma Talley finished eighth individually at 3-under 213. The eighth place honor marked Talley's ninth career top-10 finish. She played the final round at 1-under par 71. Talley's round included five birdies, bringing her three-day total to 13 birdies, which was tied for the most in the tournament field.
Lakareber Abe put together her second career round in the 60s with a final round 3-under 69. Overall, she finished the tournament at 1-over 217. Abe made a charge up the leaderboard on Tuesday, finishing tied for 18th after entering the final round tied for 34th.
Freshman Nicole Morales put together her best round to date during the final round with a 1-over 73. Morales finished tied for 55th.
Also counting toward the Tide's final round score, sophomore Cammie Gray carded a 3-over 75, while finishing with a 54-hole total of 7-over 223, tied for 40th. Mia Landegren was the Tide's drop score during the final round. Landegren finished tied for 42nd individually, shooting 8-over 224.
