
Women's Golf Slips to 11th at Mason Rudolph Championship

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - The Alabama women's golf team shot a 20-over 308 during Saturday's second round of the Mason Rudolph Championship from the par-72 6,276 Vanderbilt Legends Club South Course.
Freshman Lakareber Abe put together a solid round of 3-over 75. Abe enters the final round in a three-way tie with Chattanooga's Emily McLennan and Auburn's Clara Baena at even-par 144. The trio trails LSU's Madelene Sagstrom, who has put together a two-day total of 4-under 140.
Cammie Gray of Northport, Ala., carded a 3-over 75, and sits in a tie for 27th at 4-over 148. Junior Emma Talley put together a round of 5-over 77 on Saturday and is tied for 50th at 9-over 153.
Mia Landegren and Nicole Morales each shot 9-over 81 on Saturday.
Vanderbilt sits atop the leaderboard after 36 holes with a team total of 5-under 571. LSU is six shots off the lead (1-over 577), while Mississippi State (8-over 584) is in third place. GRU-Augusta enters the final round in fourth at 10-over 586. Rounding out the top five is Auburn, who is 14-over (590).
The Crimson Tide tees off the final round Sunday morning at 7:45 a.m. (CDT). Alabama will be paired with Princeton and Michigan State.
