Men's Tennis Adds a Pair of Wins on Sunday

Junior Becker O'Shaughnessey came back to beat Dominic Cotrone, 6-7(3), 6-4, 6-1, to advance to the final round of qualifying singles at the USTA Futures. O'Shaughnessey will face 10th-seeded Vadym Kalyuzhnyy on Monday at 9 a.m. CT for a spot in the 32-man main draw. Ironically, the two met a season ago in the same round of this tournament in a match that went in Kalyuzhnyy's favor, 6-3, 6-3.
At the Commodore Scramble, freshman Sam Edwards defeated Yannick Born of Middle Tennessee State, 6-4, 6-1, to win his final match of the tournament.
