Myneni Wins First ATP Challenger Title

INDORE, India - Former Crimson Tide tennis player Saketh Myneni won the Indore Open ATP Challenger, marking the first ATP Challenger title of his career.

Myneni was the underdog in four out of the five matches he played on his way to the title including his final match against the No. 1 seed in the tournament and world's 118th-ranked player, Aleksandr Nedovyesov. Myneni, who won the title on his birthday, defeated Nedovyesov in a back-and-forth match and finally came away with the victory 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-3.
