ATHENS, Ga. - The Alabama women's golf team has three players compete in the 2013 Lady Bulldog Individual Championship on Saturday at the par-72, 6,335-yard University of Georgia Golf Course.
The event was shortened to one round after frost delayed Saturday's start by four hours. Crimson Tide sophomore Daniela Lendl and senior Courtney McKim led the trio with a tie for 12th at 6-over-par 78. Sophomore Johanna Tillström finished tied for 23rd at 9-over-par 81.
The Alabama team kicks off its five-tournament spring slate on Feb. 10-12, at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic at the Rio Mar Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The Crimson Tide has won the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in each of the last three times they have competed, winning in 2008, 2010 and 2011.
