Three of the Crimson Tide's wins came from freshmen Hayes Brewer, Saxon Buehning and Nikko Madregallejo, while juniors Andrew Goodwin and Stuart Kenyon were Alabama's additional two advancing players.
Second round matches begin at 10 a.m. CDT on Saturday. There will be two additional qualifying round matches, one on Sunday and one on Monday, before main draw action begins.
