
Gymnastics Ranked Fourth Nationally

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama gymnastics team is ranked fourth in the national rankings coming off of a second place finish at the SEC Championships on Saturday.
Florida and Oklahoma maintained their first and second place rankings, respectively, while UCLA moved back up to No. 3. Following Alabama are No. 5 Nebraska, No. 6 Georgia, and No. 7 Oregon State. Utah fell one spot to No. 8 while LSU moved back one spot to No. 9 and Arkansas remained at No. 10 this week.
Alabama maintained its No. 2 ranking on the vault and jumped to No. 3 on the floor exercise. The Tide is also ranked No. 4 on the balance beam and No. 6 on the uneven bars.
Senior Geralen Stack-Eaton is ninth on the floor exercise, 11th in the all-around and 13th on the uneven bars. Senior Ashley Priess joins Stack-Eaton in the uneven bar rankings, coming in at No. 16. Priess is also ranked ninth on the balance beam.
Junior Marissa Gutierrez and sophomore Diandra Milliner are ranked No. 10 and No. 15 on the vault, respectively.
The Tide returns to action Saturday, April 7 at the NCAA Seattle Regional Championships.
