
Fleshner Posts Top-5 Finishes at U.S. Championships

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Alabama's Aaron Fleshner finished fifth off the 3-meter board at the 2011 AT&T National Diving Championships at the Spieker Aquatics Center on the UCLA campus.
After coming in sixth in the preliminaries, Fleshner moved up a spot in finals with 405.80 points. He also combined with Chris Heaton to finish fifth in the synchronized 3-meter springboard competition, scoring 334.77 points.
It's been a busy summer for Fleshner who started things off with a trip to Shanghai, China as part of the United States' World Championship team before returning to Tuscaloosa to finish his degree and take part in the Crimson Tide's summer commencement ceremony in early August. Later this summer the Spring, Texas, native will return to China as part of the U.S. World University Games team.
Fleshner, who is currently living and training in Tuscaloosa, was a six-time All-American for Alabama from 2007-10, as well as a multiple Southeastern Conference Champion and the 2009 SEC Diver of the Year. He finished as high as third at the NCAA Championships during his UA career.
