Opening Statement
"This was one of those basketball games that I thought we really played well for 40 minutes. We didn't play a perfect basketball game by any stretch, but the effort was there from the time the ball was tipped up until the end of the game. We have nothing to complain about from that standpoint."
On keeping everything together even when they were getting tired in the second half:
"They were a little tired. On our bench right now we still don't have the rotation down just right, and we have people hurt and all kinds of other stuff. I thought we did a good job of using our timeouts. From an effort standpoint, even when they were tired, they gutted it out, made the play, went after the ball, got loose balls, and got tough rebounds against a very good basketball team."
On the play of Jasmine Robinson:
"Jasmine kept us going in the first half. They couldn't guard her. They had some match-up problems from the standpoint of trying to guard her, and we were trying to take advantage of it off the dribble. They could not guard us off the dribble. Jasmine did a great job of taking advantage of the people that were trying to guard her."
On Alabama's athleticism and defensive pressure:
"I think with defensive pressure you press and you play a full court basketball game, and you hope that teams will make turnovers. I thought Kansas made some turnovers at crucial times. I thought we did a much better job of controlling and not making turnovers. We only had 11 turnovers for the game. When you can play that type of team under that type of situation, you've played a good basketball game."

On her expectations before the game:
"I knew that they were going to be big, and I knew that they were going to play hard and give us a challenge. I just knew, in the back of my mind, that we played them last year and lost pretty bad. But we were in our house, we took the advantage, and we got the win."
On her career-high point performance:
"I feel alright. I just wanted to do it for my team. I wanted to win so bad. They are a big name team, and just wanted to win."

On tonight's win:
"I feel good about it; we worked together and did everything that Alabama wanted to do tonight. We executed well."
On this game provides a confidence boost to the team:
"It is a big confidence boost because Friday we didn't play well. Tonight we came out and played Alabama basketball. It is a big confidence boost. We are headed in the right direction. We just need to keep making steps."
