Diving Signee Callan Buck Earns Team USA Berth

INDIANAPOLIS - University of Alabama signee Callan Buck has been named to the 2010 United States Junior World Diving Championships Team it was announced Wednesday.
Buck will compete off the 3-meter board at the championships which will be held Sept. 1-6 in Tucson, Ariz. A native of Keller, Texas, Buck earned her spot on Team USA after finishing second off the 3-meter with a score of 430.70 at the recent USA Junior National Championships.
The 2010 Junior World Diving Championships will mark the first time in 25 years that the event has been held in the United States. More than two dozen countries are slated to compete in the six-day event, with several past Olympians expected in the field.
Buck and her Crimson Tide teammates start classes on Wed., Aug. 18.
