TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - After a 40-minute delay for lightning in game one of Alabama-Liberty softball doubleheader, game two has been cancelled due to heavy rain in the Tuscaloosa area.

Alabama won game one of the doubleheader 10-7 and will open SEC play this weekend with a three game series against the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens, Ga.
