Four Gymnasts Graduate During Winter Commencement Ceremony

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Four Crimson Tide gymnasts, all members of the 2009 Southeastern Conference Championship team, were awarded their degrees on Saturday, Dec. 11 in Coleman Coliseum during the University of Alabama's winter commencement ceremony.
"All four ladies enjoyed tremendous careers and I was so proud to watch them walk across the stage and accept their diplomas," UA head coach Sarah Patterson said. "The exciting part now is to see where life takes them and how they utilize the great educations they received here at the University of Alabama."
All-American and NCAA Champion Morgan Dennis, All-American and Scholastic All-American Casey Overton, All-American, Scholastic All-American and NCAA Elite 88 award winner Kassi Price and Jacqueline Shealy, a member of the SEC Honor Roll, all earned their bachelor's degrees.
Price graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in marketing and advertising and a 4.0 grade point average. Dennis and Overton graduated with psychology degrees while Shealy earned a public relations degree.
