
Adam Booher Wins 1-meter Board at LSU Diving Invitational

BATON ROUGE, La. - Alabama senior Adam Booher won the 1-meter competition at the LSU Diving Invitational Thursday, totaling 396.70 points, just one point shy of the pool record and more than 20 points better than his nearest competitor.
Crimson Tide freshman Jacob Carloni finished 10th off the 1-meter with a score of 252.15 while freshman Luke Zippi was 11th at 239.65 points and sophomore Peter Hillyer took 12th at 209.05.
Four of the eight finalists in the women's 3-meter competition hailed from Alabama, with freshmen Callan Buck and Paige McCleary taking fourth and fifth, respectively. Buck scored 293.50 points and McCleary totaled 287.75. Senior Olivia Covey took seventh and junior Kara Feeney was eighth, posting scores of 257.20 and 224.50, respectively.
Day two of the invitational, which features homestanding LSU and the Auburn Tigers, finds the men competing off the 3-meter and the women off the 1-meter. On Saturday, both the men and women will compete off the platform.
