Women's Basketball Announces 2010 Camp Dates

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The women's basketball team has announced the dates for its 2010 summer camp slate that will include a total of six selections. The first camp will begin on June 13, and the final camp will end on June 21. See below for a complete listing of camps offered along with a brief description of each.
Fundamental Camp
Offers a solid foundation in both offensive and defensive fundamentals as well as a better understanding of the rules of the game. Each camper is instructed based on age and skill level.
Sunday, June 13 - Wednesday, June 16
Grades: 3-12
Day Camp
Offers young children a chance to build a foundation of knowledge around the game of basketball and better their understanding of the game in a fun environment.
Monday, June 14 - Wednesday, June 16
8:00-11:30am
Ages: 4-9
Shooting/Position Camp
Offers a foundation in the fundamentals of basketball with an emphasis on developing ball handling and shooting skills.
Wednesday, June 16
1:00-5:00pm
Large Varsity Playdate
Offers high school large varsity teams or AAU teams the chance to play a guaranteed four competitive games of basketball. Open to the first 20 large varsity teams to register and pay in full.
Thursday, June 17
Team Camp
Offers high school teams the opportunity to develop by playing a guaranteed eight games over the course of three days, including a tournament for each division. Team camp is open to all varsity and junior varsity teams.
Friday, June 18 - Sunday, June 20
Small Varsity Playdate
Offers high school small varsity teams or AAU teams the chance to play a guaranteed four competitive games of basketball. Open to the first 20 small varsity teams to register and pay in full.
