TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Each week, RollTide.com will feature a member of the men's cross country team in which the athlete will answer a few questions asked by RollTide.com. This week, returning senior Tyson David, a native of Kitui, Kenya, is featured.
RollTide.com - How did it feel to be a member of the SEC Championship team last season and put Alabama back on the top of the conference for the first time since 1973?
David - It felt good because that was my first SEC Cross Country Championship running for the Crimson Tide! Roll Tide!
RollTide.com - Who is the person you would most like to meet?
David - Kobe Bryant.
RollTide.com -What goes through your mind in the last few minutes before a race?
David - The work I have already put in preparing for the race.
RollTide.com - What is your dream job?
David - Have always wanted to be a Detective.
RollTide.com - What is your favorite workout?
David - Twenty 400M repeats at a pace of 65 seconds per lap.
RollTide.com - When did you know you wanted run at the Division I level?
David - In 2006, when I ran my first race in the United States, I was at Central Arizona College and it was a 1,500m and the time was 3:46.00.
