TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The men's tennis team welcomes 18 alumni from across the country to Tuscaloosa this weekend for its biennial alumni match Saturday, Sept. 12 at 11:00 a.m. (CST) at the University of Alabama Tennis Stadium.
"It's great to have several of our former men's tennis players back in town," said head coach Billy Pate. "The majority of our Sweet 16 team of 2003 will be back and many of them for the first time since they graduated. Obviously, there are a lot of changes that take place annually and we're certain the alumni will be amazed at the fantastic growth and continued progress or our university. As with all athletes that have competed at Alabama, our alumni have tremendous pride and we absolutely want to promote a unique and close relationship with all of our former players."
Among the guests are former ATP player and NCAA singles qualifier Stephen Mitchell (2004), former All-American and All-SEC selection Max Belski (2003), three-time All-American and singles and doubles qualifier Greg Hahn (1986), along with Brad Friedman (2003), Tom Givan (2003), William Boyles (2003), Scott Fligel (1989), Susheel Narla (2001), Mason Snider (2000), Chris Gostek (2004), Geoff Hiscox (2003), Greg Thompson, Chris McRae (2002), Javier Bes (2008), and Sammy Struyf (2008).

The current Crimson Tide varsity, along with its distinguished guests, will enjoy breakfast in the player's lounge of the University of Alabama Tennis Stadium before the match begins.
