TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama Gymnastics team started classes for the 2009-10 academic year on Wednesday. The defending Southeastern Conference Champions return 14 gymnasts from last year's team that won Alabama's sixth SEC title, 24th NCAA Regional Championship and posted the Tide's 11th top-two finish at the NCAA Championships. The Tide also added three freshmen to its roster. Alabama returns seven All-Americans to this year's team and nine Scholastic All-Americans.
