Gymnastics Featured on CBS' NCAA Championship Broadcast Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama Gymnastics team's second place finish at the 2009 NCAA Championships will be featured as part of the tape-delayed broadcast of the championships on CBS Saturday, April 9 from 1-3 p.m. CST.
The Crimson Tide notched its 11th top-2 finish at the championships, finishing less than three-tenths of a point behind the first-place Georgia Bulldogs. Alabama, making its 27th consecutive NCAA Championship appearance, posted its highest team finish since 2005 when it also took second.
Veteran broadcasters Tim Brando and Amanda Borden were on hand to call the action from Lincoln, Neb., site of this year's championships which were held April 16-18 in the Bob Devaney Sports Center on the University of Nebraska campus.
