KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The series opener between the No. 3 ranked Alabama softball team and No. 15 Tennessee has been postponed due to inclement weather. The series will now turn into a doubleheader with the continuation of game one scheduled to resume on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Tennessee leads the game 2-0 as the contest made it into the top of the third. Kellie Eubanks drew a leadoff walk in the inning and play was promptly stopped. The Lady Vols scored two unearned runs to start the game in the first. The series has moved from three games to two, with the final game scheduled to start after the conclusion of the postponed contest.
