TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Each week, RollTide.com will feature a member of the men's cross country team in which the athlete will answer a few questions asked by RollTide.com. This week, newcomer Moses Kiptoo, a native of Iten, Kenya is featured.
RollTide.com - How did it feel to lead Alabama to its second consecutive SEC Championship in your first season?
Kiptoo - It felt good and I was happy to help Alabama win another championship.
RollTide.com - If you were Coach Walker, you would...
Kiptoo - Coach Walker is doing a wonderful job. He is experienced and has all the qualities as far as cross country is concerned. He is the reason we are doing extremely well in our competitions.
RollTide.com - Who is the person you would most like to meet?
Kiptoo - Kenenisa Bekele. He is just one of the most talented athletes and I wish to meet him some day.
RollTide.com - What goes through your mind in the last few minutes before a race?
Kiptoo - Off course anxiety and fear.
RollTide.com - What is your dream job?
Kiptoo - My dream job is to work in a medical field where I can serve people. The best place I would love to work is in a children's hospital or nursing home.
RollTide.com - What is your favorite workout?
Kiptoo - Mile repeats.
RollTide.com - What would you say your biggest personal achievement is thus far in your career?
Kiptoo - Having received a scholarship at University of Alabama to pursue my academic and athletic career. I was also happy that I, along with my teammates, was named All-SEC while winning the SEC Championship.
