Gymnastics Hosts Annual Ghost and Goblins Intrasquad Sunday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The defending Southeastern Conference Champion Alabama Gymnastics team hosts its annual Ghost and Goblins intrasquad this Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Frances Smith Practice Facility in Coleman Coliseum.
"Sunday will give our ladies their first opportunity to get up and compete in front of an audience," head coach Sarah Patterson said. "Ghosts and Goblins is always a lot of fun, but more than that it gives us an indication of where we are at this point in the season and what we have to work on before the Christmas break so that we can be ready for the first meet."
Alabama fans are invited to come get a sneak peek at the 2010 team. It will mark the first time fans can see rookies Mary Hauswirth, Marissa Gutierrez and Ashley Sledge in action for the Crimson Tide. Alabama also returns seven All-Americans, including NCAA Champion senior Morgan Dennis, junior Kayla Hoffman, senior Ricki Lebegern, senior Casey Overton, senior Kassi Price, sophomore Ashley Priess and sophomore Rachel Terry.
The 2009-10 season also marks coaches Sarah and David Patterson's 32nd year coaching the Crimson Tide.
