TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Each week, RollTide.com will feature a member of the women's cross country team in which the athlete will answer a few questions asked by RollTide.com. This week, returning sophomore Andrea Torske, a native of Rowlett, Texas, is featured.
RollTide.com - What are your goals individually and for the team this season after having a year of experience with this same group?
Torske - My personal goals are to stay healthy and improve my times. As a team, I would like us to place better at the SEC meet.
RollTide.com - If you were Coach Hasenbank, you would...
Torske - find the biggest leaf in the park.
RollTide.com - What goes through your mind in the last few minutes before a race?
Torske -Basically, don't panic, breathe and run fast.
RollTide.com - What is your best non-athletic talent?
Torske - I love cooking. Homemade bread is my favorite.
RollTide.com - What is your dream job?
Torske - A job in the computer-programming job in the aerospace field would be a lot of fun.
RollTide.com - When did you know you wanted run at the Division I level?
Torske - I was never picky about which division I ended up in, I just knew I wanted to run.
