TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama men's cross country coach Joe Walker led the Crimson Tide through their sixth week of practice and is getting the team ready for the Dellinger Invitational this weekend. The squad is looking healthy and ready to compete.
"We had a nice week of work and finished with a solid long run on the weekend," Walker said.
The Crimson Tide took a week off after winning their home meet a week ago with a perfect score of 15 points. They will be getting ready to race against the No. 1 team in the country, Oregon, this weekend.
"We will get some quality in early this week and then try to get ready for across the country travel," Walker said. "We are looking forward to going into Eugene and competing against the top team in the country."
The Crimson Tide will head across the country to Eugene, Ore. on Oct. 4 to compete at the Dellinger Invitational. The race will be held at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Ore. at 10:30 a.m. (PST).
