Women's Cross Country Set to Host Crimson Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The women's cross country team at The University of Alabama will hosts the 20th Annual Crimson Classic this weekend on Sept. 20. The meet will be held at the Harry Pritchett Cross Country Course and will feature university, high school, and middle school divisions.
The meet will feature the No. 5 regionally ranked Alabama women's team.
Alabama will be joined by Alabama State, Samford, Jackson State, Jacksonville State, Birmingham Southern, Mercer, and West Alabama.
The university men's 8,000 meter race will begin at 8:45 a.m. with the university women toeing the line for their 5,000 meter race at 9:15 a.m. The high school (5k) and middle school (3.5k) races will all follow after the university divisions have finished.
