
Gymnastics Starts NCAA Team Finals on the Vault

ATHENS, Ga. - The Alabama Gymnastics team has learned that it will start off Friday's NCAA Super Six Team Final on the vault as determined by random draw after the conclusion of Thursday's second preliminary session.
After starting on vault, the Tide will go to a bye, followed by the uneven bars and balance beam and then a second bye. Alabama will finish the meet on the floor exercise in the sixth and final rotation.
Host team and three-time defending NCAA Champions Georgia starts off on the floor exercise and will finish off on a bye. Florida starts on the uneven bars while Utah gets it going on the balance beam. Stanford and LSU both begin on a bye. After the bye, the Cardinal will then go to the uneven bars while the Tigers will advance to the floor exercise.
Alabama, Florida and LSU all advanced from Thursday's afternoon session while Georgia, Utah and Stanford filled out the Super Six from the evening session.
The action begins at 5 p.m. CDT and will continue until the 2008 national team champion is crowned.
