TULSA, Okla. - Dan Buikema and Mathieu Thibaudeau dropped their first round match in the doubles main draw of the D'Novo/ITA Men's All-American Championships Thursday. The No. 14 pair of Buikema and Thibaudeau fell to No. 2 Steven Foreman and Cory Parr of Wake Forest 8-1.
"Matt and Dan played a match where everything they did the Wake Forest team did better," said assistant coach Bo Hodge. "I give all the credit to Steven and Cory. They were just too good today."
With the loss, Buikema and Thibaudeau dip to 2-2 on the fall season.
Alabama returns to the court Oct. 24 for its first, and only, home event of the fall season when it hosts the Crimson Tide Fall Championships. All action will take place at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.
