
Alabama Women?s Tennis Hosts LSU and Arkansas

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.- The No. 63 University of Alabama women's tennis team plays host to No. 39 LSU Friday at 4:00 p.m. and No. 58 Arkansas Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the UA Varsity Courts.
Alabama (5-12, 1-7 SEC) fell to both Florida and South Carolina last weekend, however, the Tide's top doubles pair of Mari Muller and Andrea Brenes defeated South Carolina's top doubles pair, No. 18 Gira Schofield and Ana Maria Zubori.
LSU (11-7, 3-5 SEC) remains at the top of the West after sweeping Ole Miss and Mississippi State last weekend. The Tigers are led by No. 3 Megan Falcon in singles and No. 30 Falcon and Hannah Robinson in doubles. Alabama trails LSU in the all-time series 9-23, dating back to 1977.
Arkansas (9-8, 2-6 SEC) picked up its first two conference wins last weekend over Ole Miss and Mississippi State, placing the Razorbacks third in the division race. Arkansas is led by No. 37 Ela Kaluder. Alabama leads the series with Arkansas 14-6 since its inception in 1981.
