
Women?s Cross Country Team Earns All-Academic Honors

“We want to be recognized as great student athletes,” cross country coach Randy Hasenbank said. “I think this is something we should be really proud of and should strive for year in and year out.”
This honor of All-Academic Team is given to NCAA Division I teams that have a cumulative team GPA over a 3.0, The Tide earned All-Academic with Distinction which achieved by cumulative team GPA over 3.25.
“It is an honor to be named an Academic All-Academic” senior Julia Hicks said. “It is a huge accomplishment for me personally and as a team, especially since we compete year round in all three season, cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.”
“It is a lot to manage to excel in the classroom and on the track” Hasenbank said. “Julia being able to accomplish both speaks volumes for her.”
