
Yassine, Walston Remain Undefeated at Treibly Invitational

BRADENTON, Fla.- Three members of the University of Alabama men's tennis team concluded third and fourth round action today at the Treibly Invitational held at the Bolleteiri Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
Sophomore Houssam Yassine and freshman Trey Walston head into the final day of competition undefeated with a spot in the championship match of their respective flights.
Yassine defeated Mikkel Muller of Florida-Gulf Coast, 10-5, in the third round before cruising past Georgetown's Will Lowell, 10-2, in the fourth round.
Walston, a freshman from Birmingham, outlasted Florida's Billy Mulligan, 10-8, in the third round, and went on to defeat Armstrong-Atlantic's Christian Bergh, 10-1, in the fourth round.
Taylor Striplin fell in both of his matches today. Striplin was defeated by Georgetown's Tim Walsh, 10-7, before losing to Paulos Stephanides of Temple, 10-8.
The Crimson Tide wraps up play tomorrow with the final round of competition at Bolleteiri Academy.
