
Men's Tennis Continues Run at Wilson/ITA South Regional

Lexington, Ky. ?? The University of Alabama men's tennis team earned three more wins in singles action Friday at the Wilson/ITA Southeast Regional Tournament in Lexington, Kentucky. The Tide will send seven players to the next round of action.
Andrew Felsenthal handled Hunter Gerlach of Murray State in straight sets 6-4, 6-2. Felsenthal will face Ryan Preston of Vanderbilt in the round of 64.
Dan Buikeman advanced as well with a straight set victory over Aaron Krisan of Southern Alabama 7-5, 6-1. Buikeman will face Amrit Naraimhan of Memphis in the next round.
Saketh Myneni continued to cruise with a straight-set win over Jamal Adderley of South Florida by the score of 6-0, 6-2. Myneni will face Erling Tveit of Mississippi in the round of 64.
Houssam Yassine was the only Tide player to fall, dropping in straight sets to William Lang of Tennessee 6-3, 6-3.
Matt Thibaudeau enjoyed a bye and will face Emmanuel Nkoueleue of Georgia Southern in the next round. Sammy Struyf also had a bye and will face Jeff Dadamo of Florida in the upcoming round as well. Billy Mertz and Javier Bes also will see action in the next round.
