Praytor and VanBrakle Named 2nd Team Academic All-District

As the postseason awards continue to roll for the fourth ranked Crimson Tide softball team, sophomore Jordan Praytor and senior Stephanie VanBrakle were both named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District 2nd Team.
For VanBrakle, who has a 3.33 GPA in Physical Education, it is her second appearance on the Academic All-District team, while for Praytor, who has a 3.57 in Pre-Major Studies, it is her first time on the Academic All-District team.
Both athletes will be named Academic All-SEC performers based on their GPAs.
Praytor and VanBrakle led the Tide to a first round 6-0 victory in the SEC Tournament over the Ole Miss Rebels on Thursday in Athens, Georgia.
