Tide Softball Rained Out Against Birmingham-Southern

BIRMINGHAM, AL??The game between the fourth-ranked Crimson Tide and the Birmingham-Southern Panthers has been cancelled due to severe weather in the Birmingham metro area.
The Crimson Tide held a 3-0 lead in the top of the second before the weather struck cancelling the game. There was no decision made on make-up date.
Alabama returns home this weekend for the culmination of its season long 10th Anniversary celebration as the Crimson Tide hosts the eight-ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Alumni weekend. The celebration kicks off on Friday night with the second Alumni Game at the UA Softball Stadium. Fans are welcome to join as first pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The game will pit two alumni teams, the Crimson and the White while the current team will participate as coaches and umpires.
