Coach Pate says...
"Matt made a big impact on our squad last spring as a freshman who started in January. He was put into a difficult position by having to play high in the line-up right off the bat but he responded well and had some cricial victories when we needed it. He is a natural server and volleyer and a gifted doubles player and held down the No. 1 position for most of his spring season. We expect him to continue playing the No. 1 doubles position and being a consistent winner for us in singles."
