Gymnastics Signs Autographs on the Quad - Meets Fans

The latest edition of the Alabama Gymnastics team made its first public appearance Saturday before the Alabama-Arkansas game on the Quad where it signed autographs and visited with fans young and old.
"Our ladies really enjoy the chance to get to meet and visit with Alabama fans," Sarah Patterson, entering her 28th season as the Tide's head coach. "They really had a good time today and now they are looking forward to watching a great football game."
There are 16 gymnasts on the 2006 roster, including seven freshmen, which ties for the largest rookie class in Tide history. The team started official practice earlier this month and the competition season gets started in January.
