Joe Walker

University of Alabama men’s cross country coach Joe Walker had a full day Saturday as the Tide claimed its third straight Crimson Classic championship and he then rushed to the hospital for the birth of his baby daughter, Maia Malin Walker.

Maia Malin came into this world at 7lbs 12oz.  Both child and mother are doing well.
 

More than 70 Crimson Tide student-athletes are slated to earn their degrees this weekend.
