After earning a pair of silver medals at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, Terin Humphrey joined the Crimson Tide in January for the Spring Semester and made an immediate impact.
She won the Southeastern Conference and NCAA Regional Uneven Bars titles before capping her freshman season by leading Alabama to a second place NCAA finish and winning the NCAA Uneven Bars Championship, marking Alabama's 18th individual national title.
On Saturday night, at the halftime of the Alabama-Southern Miss Football Game, Humphrey was presented with her ring by head coach Sarah Patterson and Athletics Director Mal Moore.
Before the game, Alabama gymnasts were out on the Quad, having a bake sale to raise money for Hurricane Katrina Relief.
