Vlad Polyakov Receives His NCAA Championship Ring

Already an Olympic finalist and World Championship Bronze Medalist going into his sophomore season, Vlad Polyakov added NCAA Champion to his resume last spring. Polyakov also won the Southeastern Conference 100 and 200 breaststroke titles, setting a conference record in the 200.

He then shattered the Tide's school record on his way to winning the NCAA 200 Breaststroke title last March, swimming and diving's 18th national title.

On Saturday night, at the halftime of the Alabama-Southern Miss Football Game, Polyakov was presented with his ring by head coach Eric McIlquham, assistant head coach Sonya Porter and Athletics Director Mal Moore.
